Community we Support
The Miani – Girls Homecenter supports young orphaned women located in Sri Lanka. In May, SurfBreak will be traveling, covering 900 km by tuk-tuk, to collect experiences, emotions, and fragments of life. The donations collected here, together with the documentary, will be our main tools aimed at supporting this reality. Miani Nagar takes care ofgirls from 6 to 18 years old, and from then on tries to finance as many study opportunities as possible (at the cost of 45 EUR/month per person). It is precisely here that we at SurfBreak (together with you) believe we can do something.

How to support?
Our dedicated team of video-makers, content creators, and SurfBreakers is currently navigating the vibrant landscapes of Sri Lanka in their tuk-tuk, capturing the essence of life as they journey 900 km. We are on our way to meet the incredible Miani Nagar community around May 6th-8th, ready to deliver the donations we’ve gratefully received so far – both tangible and financial.
